Make a contribution to our Annual Fund
- Provide for the Foundation in your Will
- Volunteer for a Foundation committee or project
There are many ways in which
you can help build and strengthen the Southfield Community
Foundation. Working together as a community enables us to
take full advantage of our different experiences, skills,
talents and strengths.
The first way in which you can
help is by making an annual gift to one or more of the Foundation's
permanent funds. The Foundation achieves its mission primarily
through the development of these endowmentscontributions
invested forever for the good of the community. The larger
the permanent funds are, the more dollars that are available
for projects and grants.
Secondly, you can consider leaving
the Foundation in your Will. Your bequest
can be in support of any of our funds, or, subject to Foundation
minimums, could create a new, named fund. A bequest can be
in the form of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your
estate or the remainder of your estate after other bequests
are satisfied.
The third way you can help is
to get involved as a volunteer. The Foundation
depends on volunteers for its board of directors and many
committees. Whether it is work with our Youth Advisory Committee,
our SPS Education Committee, or for one of our events, volunteerism
is a wonderfully-rewarding way to get involved and give back
to the community.
Send us an email at scf@scfmi.org
for more information on any of these opportunities.
